The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation has identified the UW teacher ed program as one of the best in the nation, according to the New York Times. They'll be a part of a new initiative to lure top-flight talent into teaching; they're billing it as a sort of Rhodes Scholarship program for educators. The director of the initiative is Arthur Levine, who has made big waves the last few years with his criticism of teacher ed programs.
