The April 2008 edition of Washington CEO Magazine makes a pretty convincing case (to me, anyhow) that we should build a larger convention center in the Seattle metropolitan area, with more hotel space to go along with it. I’d support a convention center over a basketball arena mainly because I could see the potential for multiple uses at multiple times during the day for a center, where a basketball arena might only see action a couple times a week for half the day.
I’m hoping the WEA Rep Assembly will go to Seattle some day. I’ve never actually attended a conference that used the Seattle Convention Center.
