$113,602,848

That’s the estimated cost of the WASL during the 2006-2007 school year, according to research done by the WEA. This includes the cost of printing, administering, delivering, proctoring, storing, and scoring the test for grades 3 through 10. It seems like a very high number, and I'm curious to see the research behind it.

The big question right now in Washington State—is it worth it?
