Last week at a union meeting I was at the number being bandied around was "between 1 and 2 billion dollars."
Today, this shows up in my email, from the WEA:
On Monday, the state Senate will release a budget that cuts K-12 and higher education by more than $2 billion.That's not much of a way to start spring break.
