Blogging as a Communication Tool

Just found Director Harium Martin-Morris' blog, written by one of the school board members in Seattle. He's got several posts with more than 100 responses each, which speaks well to the power that a blog can have for district parents to communicate with their elected representatives. It's worth checking out.

You can also check out Seeking Shared Learning (seekingsharedlearning.blogspot.com), which belongs to the superintendent of the Tahoma School District.
This is another good example of how valuable it can be for people in leadership roles to find new ways of communicating with their colleagues.
